Ingredients

-1 lb ground beef

-1 medium onion, diced

-1 can diced tomatoes

-1 can tomato soup

-1 can kidney beans, drained and rinsed

-1 can beans in tomato sauce

-1 can black beans, drained and rinsed

-1 cup frozen corn

-1 cup beer

-1-2 tbsp chili powder, to taste

-1 tbsp cumin

-Salt, to taste

Instructions

In a large pot or Dutch oven, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned, breaking it up with a spoon as it cooks. Drain the excess fat if necessary.

Add the diced onion to the pot and cook until softened, about 3-4 minutes.

Add the remaining ingredients and stir well to combine.

Reduce heat to low, cover, and let the chili simmer for at least 20-30 minutes to allow the flavours to meld. Stir occasionally. For a thicker chili, simmer uncovered.

Taste and adjust seasoning as needed. Add more chili powder if you like extra heat.
